      Description

After a package upgrade of the cdap-ambari-service package, some files which were generated during runtime may be left behind. This prevents the package manager from removing the service directory for that version, which will prevent Ambari from starting up. The log on the Ambari side isn't exactly clear on what the problem is or the solution.

A workaround is to simply delete the old version directory under /var/lib/ambari-server/resources/common-services/CDAP so only the current version remains.
