As a user I want to be able to easily navigate through target fields easily, as well as surface relevant dataset when inspecting specific fields.
There are two distinct filtering activities:
- Filtering target fields
- Filtering cause/impact datasets
Filtering target fields
In datasets with a large number of fields, a user may not want to browse through potentially several paginated views of the target dataset to search for a specific fields. The UI allows the user to filter it view and narrow the fields displayed.
The user can narrow down the fields displayed by selecting the filter icon in the dataset header and open the filter pop over.
The user can imput a partial query (more to be defined)
The filters that meet the filtering criteria are displayed. The cause/impact datasets and fields displayed should reflect the new view, following the same behavior of a pagination. https://issues.cask.co/browse/CDAP-15461
Visual treatment: when a filter has been applied the filter icon is displayed as highlited in $orange-01: #ff6600;
Filtering cause/impact datasets
Filtering cause/impact dataset is only available when a user is inspecting a specific field.
if there are more datasets that can be displayed at once, the user navigate through them using the pagination, or by filtering the datasets displayed.
The user can filter by either typing the name of the dataset, or by browsing the list of datasets names displayed in the pop over. If there are more than 5 datasets, the list becomes scrollable.
Filter is applied after the user selects "apply".
